About Home Inspections

A home inspection's purpose is to provide documentation describing any issues discovered from observations that I make and any research that I do, that in my opinion are likely to be of interest to my client, and to enhance their knowledge of the property. It is basically a snap shot in time of the property's condition, and as such, should not be thought of as a warranty or guarantee, but an aid to the home seller or buyer. Sellers can benefit by learning what thier home may need to improve the "sellability" of thier home by making it "Move in Certified".

Don't rely on a realtor to recommend your home inspector. I work for my clients, and not for agents. I will point out all the systems of the home you are considering, and give you an education at the same time. You are welcome to "ride along" on the inspection of your home and ask questions as we go.

I would also encourage my clients to be sure and read the entire report when you receive it. This will insure that you know as much as possible about the home you are considering.
